What wattage is that 4060 with a 140w USB-C charger?! Looks like a very appealing machine overall, but I'm wondering if it's going to have much juice with the 35w CPU and (likely) a throttled GPU.

Considering this is a creator laptop and not a gaming one, the wattage should be somewhere between 35-65W.

Yep, 55w 4060 and 60hz display, according to this review (https://www.itpro.com/hardware/la...it-budgets). Crazy long battery life though at over 15 hours in a video playback test! This seems to be competing with Macbook Pro users maybe, for the users who edit video on the go and don't game?

Precisely. Not every day, you see a 99.9Whr battery in a non-gaming relatively thin and light laptop. The 55W 4060 can still play quite a few games but of course you won't get much out of it and the 60Hz display.

Yes even though the post doesn't list it the review I watched talks about and shows it. When looking at the laptop it is on the right side. I can also see it in the CDW pictures. The CDW listing also mentions the port.

I'm stuck in review hell and finally pulled the trigger on a zenbook s16 yesterday. Mainly for school but also some light gaming. I got it for $920 open box excellent condition. Should I stick with that or switch to this? The 4060 is tempting

I would go with the MSI ever since GN tore Asus a new one on how they handle warranty claims with their handheld console. Never knew Asus was that dismissive of their customer base and would avoid all of their products going forward. Just my two cents.

Plus it has a Thunderbolt port and WiFi 7. I really like this deal. I'm starting a new job and may ask them to comp me to buy this instead of waiting to see what they give me.

This deal might expire in a day or two, so be wary of that.
