Are these units typically in good physical condition? The price gap between "fair" and "excellent" is only $7, so that would easily be worth the pocket change.
Do PlayStation consoles with digital codes for the extra content still have problems with employees redeeming the codes? I can't say pointless Fortnite skins are much of a deal breaker, that would far less annoying than what people put up with last year with missing Spider-Man 2 codes.
Are the Geek Squad two year warranties refundable if you decide to return the system?

There may still be issues with codes however SP2 was earlier unlocks and skill points.
Games are starting to receive PS5Pro updates which don't seem to be optional so be sure to have extra storage space.
My $350 BF Target PS5 is going strong and hopefully there isn't another price hike coming up.
The disk drive is $80 but fairly difficult to get before it goes out of stock and I am unaware of its failure rate but $80 beats a new console. The PSN sales are usually not the best.
There are only a handful of exclusives on PS5 however Sony has started to open up their PS1/2/3/4 and PSP/Vita games for streaming. They are even letting some games go to PC after a year(be nice if it was crossbuy like xbox).
