Topload w/ sleeve is better for access to card for grading purposes

Gamestop wants penny sleeve and an ultrapro single holder for psa grades. They say they no longer take a toploader.

Toploaders should run around 9-10 cents apiece. This is in smaller volume for 16 cents apiece so not that great of a "deal".

They never did (read: they weren't supposed to), because PSA and CGC don't accept those either.

Single Holders makes it easier to remove the card and less chance of damage.

No.

If you're sending in to PSA it needs to be sleeved and in a semi-rigid (#1). They cut the semi-rigid up the side to open it (it's faster, safer on fingers when you're doing hundreds, and less likely to accidentally bend a card trying to get it out), so don't get one of the smaller sized ones just because you see them for cheaper. Don't bother with pull tabs/etc for grading, PSA at least SPECIFICALLY says not to [psacard.com]:
Quote :
Do not use toploaders or include obstructions like tape, pull tabs, or sticky notes. Both sides should be completely visible.
Toploaders are for your own collection (or for protecting when selling), not for grading.

If all you need is 25 toploaders, this is fine enough, especially if you're grabbing them instore/etc.
