I'm not sure if it's just me or the store but every time I try to get these deals from Dollar General it's such a pain. I don't know if the cashier doesn't know what they're doing or what. I've always had the coupons saved but when I go to ring them up I have to get them to do some sort of override.

Soda companies, BS price hikes in the past few years have driven me to find alternatives.

$3 a 12 pack used to be my benchmark for brand name, so this isn't bad. It's like accounting for just normal inflation.

Now a days I just stick to store brand 2-liters of I am going to give in. My way of voting for a price/product that seems reasonable.

The better deal for Pepsi products for 12 packs is Family Dollar. With digital coupons in the app it comes out to $8 for three 12 packs. Plus you have to go to either Dollar General or Family Dollar on Saturday and clip the digital coupon for $5 off if you spend $25.

It's on the front page of their weekly ad. I checked a random Orlando zip code (32828), and it shows the same ad as everywhere else. A DG account is required to get the deal, as it needs a coupon which is tied to the account.

Would love to do this but in OR Dollar General's are only in rural areas and if you live in a major city thats a decent drive out.

The DG near me is so skanky and dirty and the employees (usually just ONE employee doing everything) hate life and are not friendly. The only reason I step foot in there is diet coke for the Mrs, 7-11, and gas stations near me charge over ten bucks for a 12 pack. DG is usually like $7-8. Sometimes they have 3 for $15 deals on soda, I've never seen a 3 for $11 there. And it's almost never the coke products, it's usually the dr pepper or pepsi brands. Wife HAS TO HAVE diet coke, no other diet soda is acceptable. I like 7up, the coke equivalent is sprite which I find too sweet.

Yes, but it's not always in stock at every location. The yellow "Maui Burst" pineapple flavor is really good, too. I think its a DG exclusive.

Every Dollar General that I go to, always has the shelves stocked. I travel a lot and this is in GA, FL and CA in various locations.

My bad luck is with the Walgreens and their $10 minimum for in store pick up deals. The items are always "not available in store" and I can be right there in the store trying to get the deal.

Actually, this is incorrect. The 5 off 25 has always stacked with Pepsi or coke 12 pack deals if you can hold out until Saturday.
