I understand the reasons - there's potential for all sorts of misdoings. But a few extra percentage points isn't worth me forking over sensitive information. If others choose to, that's up to them.

Am I blind? I've created a DG Account and clipped the coupon. However, I can't for the life of me find the actual Lowes gift card (the only thing is a $75 multi-pack GC set that I can't add anyway). Is this perhaps only in-store? TIA!

Unlikely if it's redeemed to your account, but the best practice with gift cards is to redeem them soon after purchase.
