Many restaurants opt-in, then have higher online prices than in-store prices to make up for that price difference.
But the cost of running GrubHub's infrastructure, running a restaurant, paying a delivery driver, state taxes, etc. is still there. It's just a question of where the underlying costs are visible or hidden.

Amex business gold card gets a credit for GrubHub and some office supply stores like staples.
It is a reasonable assumption that the tip is for business gold card since they referred to $20 credit instead of $10.
I really doubt buying a grubhub gift card from Staples will post as GrubHub.
