Sharing a tip, if you want more flexibility (in terms of time) for spending that $20 credit on GrubHub, buy a $20 GrubHub E-Gift card on Staples instead. (Amex Biz Gold credit also applies to Staples purchases). That GC value never expires. Also let's you stack multiple months worth of GC for one big order.

Will this work for pickup? Grubhub almost never has pickup deals and the delivery fees kill any discounts.

GrubHub discount codes have worked for me on pickup. This'll stack nicely with my $20 Amex business gold credit. Will get $30 worth of sushi 😁

I was able to stack with $5 Amex credit for $20 purchase offer thru my Amex blue cash. Effectively 15 off 30. It worked on pickup as well, no need to do delivery.

It is a reasonable assumption that the tip is for business gold card since they referred to $20 credit instead of $10.
I really doubt buying a grubhub gift card from Staples will post as GrubHub.
Yeah that makes more sense. There's no way for Amex to know in detail down to the item bought at the store
