Good deal on a large trash can that usually isn't on sale at this price. Would be nice to have a stainless steel lid, but the plastic isn't bad. Code Q trash bags are also sold by Costco for $89 for 300 bags. Only thing I would note is that normal 13g kitchen trash bags will not fit in this trashcan.

These things are solid. My 2 and 4 year olds climb on it daily as a stepper to get on the counter.
Costco sells another of the same size that's split two compartments. One side for recycling with a pullout bucket and other for trash. The regular Kirkland trash bags fit in that one if you tighten the top of the bag at the rim.
Totally agree. Every time I pass this thing in the store I shake my head.
To each their own, I guess!
My x bought one...that I managed to keep. It hasn't been working good...so I messaged the company, and after a couple photos, they are sending me a replacement. It does come with a 10 year warranty... so there is that.

I think mine just past the 10 year mark and a plastic piece controlling the lid broke..

They didn't ask for receipt....they don't know when you bought it.
