The enameled cast iron Dutch oven is worth the $50 on its own imo.
Every time this has been posted for this price (this is the 3rd time I have seen it) it sells out pretty quick, so don't wait too long to decide.

I've cooked side by side with a traditional crockpot and the food just comes so much better in this. The only downside is that it's heavy which should be obvious given that its cast iron.
