Even though it says 0 grams of Sugar alcohol, I suspect the (chicory root fiber) ingredient gives the same side effects (Gas Bloating, etc)

There seems to be a P&G Promo Credit available also, because I just bought 6 boxes of these for $12.40 all-in. Thanks OP!

4 grams of added sugar is like 4 little packets of white sugar that restaurants have for coffee, not good. The ingredients list out honey, palm kernel oil, sugar, glucose syrup, rice flour in that order towards the top, not good. Palm kernel oil is maybe the second worst oil behind the banned trans fat oils, it is heavily processed cheap oil.

I guess this is a lot "Kinder" than many other granola bars out there, but not nearly as great as a healthy trail mix, mixed nuts, or just some almonds. But of course it does taste good and is convenient. This is processed food. I do think the "Kind" branding is misleading, just like the branding of "Cliff Bars." Added sugar is bad, and it all adds up over time.

I used to love these, until my blood sugar (A1C) started trending up, not good, so I am going cold turkey.

There are zero sugar Kind bars out there for a reason, but they are never on sale. They are like $7 for 5 bars, not 6, and each bar is only 35 grams, not 40 grams. It probably has to do with economies of scale, but there is something odd about charging much more for stuff that costs them less, maybe because it is less addictive and you won't want to eat as many without the sugar spike that keeps you hungry.

They are probably not going to cause any short term problems if you are under 35 years old and exercise a lot. Hopefully you don't get diabetes before you figure this all out, I am know I am not waiting for that.

Believe it or not, most of us are capable of reading ingredients and determining our own balance between "what's healthy" and "guilty pleasure" without a 1,000 word dissertation from the food police under the guise of "just tryin' to be helpful."

Thank you.....Palm Kernel oil is very unhealthy.
Ordered without checking and found out.
Will avoid Kind bars in future.
