The only difference between the book and now is that in the book they had entire wall size screens, whereas we are satisfied with little 6 inch ones.

It's not an audio book per se, it's like a radio story. Closest I can compare it to is war of the world original radio broadcast vs the science fiction novel. Try the sample, I thought it was fantastic

Had to read this book in school. Just utterly preposterous, absolutely nothing in it could ever happen. The government and the rich are just too honest and upstanding to do anything like this. It is a humorous read though to get you through the evening, but take it with a grain of salt.

Excellent book

I recommend reading Animal Farm by Orwell along with it. Also, watch that 1954 cartoon "Animal Farm" ! It is available for free on the web, you will thank me!

Planet eBook has this book and several other classics that are now considered public domain for FREE. Their books are free, clean, in ePub or PDF, and even have a nice cover. If you actually spend money on this book, the only thing you are spending $2 on is the foreword put in by the publisher.
