Those silicone covers work great too. Give 'er a good oil down, slap the silicone on top and press out the air bubbles... Baby aint gone rust that way, metal cover or not.

That's a misprint. Blackstone griddle surfaces are made with cold rolled steel. The exterior frame material is made from powder coated steel.

I have this model and it's great. Works perfectly so far. Doesnt use a lot of propane and heats up really well.
