Consumer Reports gives it 80/100 with excellent function/performance scores stating "This model had No performance flaws Noted." It's only brought down by expected reliability and satisfaction (likely due to a few bad years of Samsung appliances). It's definitely worth buying at this price IMHO.
If you register, you'll get a free extra year warranty too.

Induction ranges are efficient and cook rapidly. I recommend that people watch youtube videos that demonstrate induction cooking.
If I cooked more often than I do, I'd buy this range.
I used to sell appliances and Samsung wasn't my favorite brand. But this is a good price for a slide-in Induction.

If you don't have pots and pans that are made from a ferrous metal (Magnet will stick to it) you will need to purchase those. Copper, aluminum will NOT cook on this top.

It's only $100 more at costco
https://www.costco.com/samsung-6....less+steel

Buying from costco includes 2-year warranty, free delivery, installation, haul away of old appliance.

Could well be worth the $100 difference for many.

While it's only one datapoint, I can say that I have had this range for a year and it's fantastic. You can buy a stainless steel backguard separately. I have seen better deals than this though - when I bought mine, it came with that backguard free and included a free range hood (which I sold to bring down the net cost of the range).
I think we all understand that it's a great unit when it works. If anyone here has had a Samsung appliance not fail on them within the first 5 years, please chime in.

Bundled with a Microwave, Dishwasher and Fridge. Came with a free 75in TV and $130 in BB giftcards. $2876 out the door delivered. Thanks OP, this is perfect for my new house!
Where do you see the option of 75in free TV? Can you share the list of items purchased?

Gullible fool. If anything is actually marked off that much, it's probably for a reason.

Are Samsung ranges as bad as their refrigerators?
My home was full of Samsung appliances. The range is the only one that last more than 10 years without issues.

Dang, I wanted to purchase this, until a quick search explained the high EMF exposure, as a byproduct of the induction technology. Any of my fellow health conscious slickdealers have any say?
The EMFs from this type of appliance are non-ionizing. Basically, the wrong type to cause cellular damage or pose other risks to human health

How's the noise on this? I hear induction ranges have a fan noise and buzzing noise as well.
It's quieter than other inductions I've used, the buzzing is much better and fan slightly better. Had the oven going a couple hours and the fan was still acceptable - similar to the range hood on low

What are your thoughts on Frigidaire induction stove. Been watching one directly from them go from 1k to 800 and back up. Currently waiting for it to drop again.

Other than the physical knobs, why would I buy this over the Bespoke one (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sams...Id=6569010), which is newer and appears to have the same features?

Appears that the oven isn't convection like this one.

5 year warranty from BB is a better deal.
Actually, total price with five year extended warranty, delivery, setup, and removal of old appliance is cheaper with Costco than BB for me.
