I've thought the same thing or for when the kids have outdoor sports in the winter. The problem is that it also needs to be plugged in to a power source for the fan.

Too late now but FYI Lowes had one for 49.99 on DEC 18th 2024.

yep. i have an ecoflow that should run this no problem. also one of those little ryobi battery inverters that may try it out on as well!

Bought this to use when friends with kids come over and want to hang out outside. Way louder than I guessed. No one could hear each other talk.

Makes sense for a worksite, but probably not for entertaining lol

Yeah these are loud and the kerosene heaters are even louder. Look for a more radiant heater for that, one that doesn't have a fan.

Ok deal, but I am happy with the Duraheat 60k BTU that Git off here for $60 shipped. It is loud, not sure the QBT quiet is worth $30 more. Anyone have this? Is it actually quiet?

I'm thinking of getting just a kerosene heater, since these are kinda expensive to keep running $18 for a refill over a couple gallons of propane. I really only want to keep my pipes from freezing.
