If you're not set on getting Ryobi, take a look at the HyperTough 20V impact wrench [walmart.com] from Walmart. It has 900 ft/lbs break away torque for $99, and has been tested by TorqueTestChannel on YT.
I've been eyeing it for a while now as a cheap impact wrench to take with me on road trips. I currently own three Dewalt 1/2" 20V impact wrenches (High, Mid, Low), and a little 3/8" 12V.

For anyone already in the Ryobi ecosystem, I'd recommend the Brushless Cordless 4-Mode 1/2 in. High Torque Impact Wrench over this. The kit with charger and battery has come up on sale for $139. It's rated for 1170 ft-lbs of breakaway torque. It got the bed bolts off my truck and everything else I've tried it on.

I have this and totally regret my purchase. One of the only ryobi products I have that is lame. It really really really struggles getting lug nuts off my jeep (110ftlb torque) and chevy express (140ftlb) torque. It'll eventually get them off if I sit there (sometimes for 10-15 seconds per lug). I've given up and break them free with a breaker bar.
Edit: FYI....that's with using the 6ah HP battery

Have this same one for the last year. Works excellent on anything so far.

This. I had an anode on my hot water heater that wouldn't give it up until I went full power with that exact impact wrench.

I would say if you're just an average diy type that only uses the tools once or twice a year to go with Rigid. Ryobi, Rigid and Milwaukee power tools are all made by TTI. However, Rigid has the best "warranty" with their Lifetime Service Agreement. Provided you register all items (tool, battery, charger) within 90 days of purchasing. They now even included battery only purchases.

Have an issue, mail in the tool/battery with provided shipping label and they sort. Just ensure you register the replacement device. Given that all batteries will eventually wear out, never having to pay for a replacement battery again or even that specific tool, is a hard deal to beat. You can even get adapters on eBay to allow use of Rigid batteries with Ryobi tools.

So my next door neighbor had your thought process--gotta have the best ecosystem so went with Dewalt. He and I are your typical home owners where we use our tools just for basic home/car repair stuff. But guess who keeps on coming over and borrowing my Ryobi tools to trim hedges or unclogging drain pipe? 😁

While the cost of entry initially for Dewalt drill is few bucks more, their subsequent tools afterwards cost significantly more. And they dont have nearly as many of selection as Ryobi does. And you're absolutely right, the quality may not be as good.. but for the average home owner like myself, it's unlikely that the tool will crap out during my ownership.
My neighbor wishes he never gotten into a Dewalt ecosystem because he now prefers versatility vs premium.

An impact Wrench isn't the same thing as an impact Driver.

This is not really exclusive to Toyota, but many of the newer models use a two-piece lug nut, which is a steel core and a stainless steel jacket that's wrapped around it that gets easily rounded off using high impacts use. You shouldn't be using impact to drive on the lug nuts anyways he should be using a torque wrench. At work, I zip them off using an impact, but putting them on I use the torque wrench. They just don't survive very long using a high impact use.

Since when is 275 FT/lbs high torque? That's a joke. Don't waste your time or money on this. You will be very disappointed if you buy it. If you want high torque from Ryobi, get the PBLIW01B and at least a 4AH battery. On a limited budget check out the new line of impact wrenches you can get at Walmart. They offer a lot of bang for the buck. Check out the torque test channel on youtube for more specifics.
