You're correct. I went into the free epic games section and scrolled to the "coming soon" games. F1 Manager 2024 is there and it says it starts on February 13. Maybe a glitch, or epic hasn't updated yet lol

It usually goes into affect at 8am pst/11am est on the day it starts

Yes, the mechanics of all of these manager games (F1, football, soccer, etc) are a large mathematical model that fluctuates depending the variables you select within a predetermined finite budget structure along with random elements. Then they put a sport-specific UI over it.

I find them terribly dull.

Also funny that the developers decided Red Bull's Christoper Horner wasn't attractive/interesting enough to put on the cover despite being the manager of the winning constructor for the past 4(?) years. 😂
