Safety Recall Notice: Ryobi 40V Brushless 21” Cordless Walk-Behind Mowers

TTI Outdoor Power Equipment, Inc., in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, is voluntarily recalling certain Ryobi Model 40 Volt Brushless 21" Cordless Walk-Behind Mowers.
A push-on connector inside the powerhead can overheat, posing a fire hazard. In an effort to eliminate this hazard, we are conducting a voluntary product safety recall.
Only the Ryobi 40 Volt Brushless 21" Cordless Walk-Behind Mowers Models RY401014BTLUS, RY401014US, RY401140US, RY401015BTLUS, RY401015US, RY401150US, RY401140US-Y, RY401150US-Y, RY401160US, RY401016US, RY401200 (Canada Only), and RY401020 (Canada Only) with serial numbers KC21032D010001 - KC21327N99999 are affected.
If you are in possession of one of these Ryobi 40 Volt Brushless 21" Cordless Walk-Behind Mowers, please immediately discontinue use of the product.
Please call Ryobi Customer Service at 1-800-597-9624 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, to obtain instructions on how to disable the recalled mower and receive a free replacement 21" walk-behind mower.
