Buying from the LG partner store is a huge gamble. I ordered the 77" G4 for $2370 the first time and they shipped me a tv with a cracked screen and then the replacement was clearly opened and repackaged and also had a cracked screen. 10 weeks since I originally placed the order and almost 1 month since I rejected the 2nd tv and I still don't have a refund from LG. Had to dispute the charge with the CC company instead. Their customer service is *dreadful*. It cannot be overstated how useless and terrible their customer service is.

I did then buy the 77" G4 again for $2200 with store pickup from Best Buy via the partner store and so far so good. Don't know what fresh hell would have awaited if something was wrong with that TV but it seemed like it came from Best Buy's stock so maybe better chance of getting a good TV to begin with.

If you're going to risk buying from the partner store it needs to be a *stellar* deal.

Wish you could decline the installations and get that applied to the TV.

Also hard to say this is a better deal than a 77 inch C3, as the C3 > B4 and has frequently been only $100 more ($1499) - less than a week ago from Best Buy even.

IMHO even the B4 will be miles beyond LED tvs of any brand. I really want to pull the trigger but I won't be home until next weekend. It would be nice if they would give a discount if you don't want the Handy installation, as I have already bought a new swivel mount and can do this myself.

To be fair, you are comparing a B from a previous generation with a C from a later generation. Most people here are comparing a B4 (this deal) with a C3 (BB deal). B from later generation than C are only slightly behind in PQ and probably no difference in features.

Yeah I went back and added it and you are right. Canceled and reordered. That's an amazing deal on that soundbar. Thanks for posting that. I wanted a new soundbar and that saved me some $$$.

You must order with the TV or it's still the original sale price of $899

In my insistence it's B3 but I've seen the B4 in stores and was just as unimpressed despite what the internet reviews have said compared to the C4 also on display. I definitely notice the OLED difference compared to the other QLEDs etc but if we're talking in terms of bang for the buck value, I would pay the difference for a C4 compared to a B4 but I would rather spend put my money towards a 85 or 98+ inch QLED

+1000 on avoiding partner store. Took me 3 different purchases / experiences for my dumb self to learn my lesson.

I'll stick to Costco or WorstBuy so I can go talk to someone in person and go full Karen if need be. Worth $200 in price difference.

I got this when there was 20%CB, already on sale in December, and used a 15% off coupon given by LG chat. I ended up getting it for under $1100 when CB and the 15% off coupon was combined. Highly recommend this set. Unless you have the C4 right next to it (and even then, it'd be tough to differentiate between the pictures), you won't notice the difference. The C4 gets a little brighter, but the B4 is plenty bright enough for daytime, fully lit room, viewing.
