Buying from the LG partner store is a huge gamble. I ordered the 77" G4 for $2370 the first time and they shipped me a tv with a cracked screen and then the replacement was clearly opened and repackaged and also had a cracked screen. 10 weeks since I originally placed the order and almost 1 month since I rejected the 2nd tv and I still don't have a refund from LG. Had to dispute the charge with the CC company instead. Their customer service is *dreadful*. It cannot be overstated how useless and terrible their customer service is.

I did then buy the 77" G4 again for $2200 with store pickup from Best Buy via the partner store and so far so good. Don't know what fresh hell would have awaited if something was wrong with that TV but it seemed like it came from Best Buy's stock so maybe better chance of getting a good TV to begin with.

If you're going to risk buying from the partner store it needs to be a *stellar* deal.

Make sure you are fully committed... return with manufacturer sucks

Wish you could decline the installations and get that applied to the TV.

Also hard to say this is a better deal than a 77 inch C3, as the C3 > B4 and has frequently been only $100 more ($1499) - less than a week ago from Best Buy even.

Does Costco or BB match prices from LG?
Costco doesn't price match. Period.

Best Buy would match the normal LG store, but not the Partner Store, or any discounts (education, military...etc).

+1000 on avoiding partner store. Took me 3 different purchases / experiences for my dumb self to learn my lesson.

I'll stick to Costco or WorstBuy so I can go talk to someone in person and go full Karen if need be. Worth $200 in price difference.
Idk man. C4 on partner store is 400 dollars cheaper+free mounting vs Costco even

I got this when there was 20%CB, already on sale in December, and used a 15% off coupon given by LG chat. I ended up getting it for under $1100 when CB and the 15% off coupon was combined. Highly recommend this set. Unless you have the C4 right next to it (and even then, it'd be tough to differentiate between the pictures), you won't notice the difference. The C4 gets a little brighter, but the B4 is plenty bright enough for daytime, fully lit room, viewing.
Curious how you chatted with anyone on the LG Partner Store. They have no chat option. And what cash back site was offering 20 percent. None of them support the LG Partner Store. you sure you aren't thinking of the LG website? Weird if so as they are usually way higher in price.

All true. That said, as an owner of both a C and B series, the picture is pretty much identical on both. I assumed there'd be a meaningful difference, but there isn't. And since I didn't care about the "smart" features, the B is fine, for anyone on the fence. And just in case it's a question, its smart features work fine, I just prefer to use my PS5 or series X.

Bought a LG 77" B series, returned it because you couldn't see the picture in a room with indirect sunlight.

Full-Screen Brightness
LG B4 Full-screen: 128 nits, 655 peak
LG C4 Full-screen: 202 nits, 1,065 peak
LG G4 Full-screen: 239 nits, 3,000 peak

Border on the C3 is smaller (0.22" vs 0.39") than on the B4 if that matters.

Have the same indirect sunlight and have had no issues with B3. I'm actually almost direct sunlight at certain times of the day.

Good deal but they also have a promotion for the C4 "48 for $899 same price which is a better version than the B4.

That's what Rtings said but I wanted someone with ownership of both C3 and B4 to confirm. Some people say C3 may have more color punch. Do you find anything that could make the C3 better? I have the B4 and I'm always wondering if I made a mistake when I got it for $1250 on BF. Coming from the Samsung S95B (that bitch died just after warranty expired) I find the B4 lacking a bit of brightness when I play games during the day.
