Everything with a motor is brushed & low end except for XR oscillating tool.

My opinion on stuff:
Batteries are decent but only 2x 2AH
Charger looks to be basic [single stage]
Tool bags might be half decent
Bluetooth speaker is prob decent
And lots of people like that light...
Everything else is bottom of the barrel for "current" Dewalt 20V

Which Dewalt line would you recommend for home use?

An atomic drill, saw and/or oscillating multitool with a couple of 2-4ah batteries should get you rock solid for any home project. The tools in the DCK489D2 or DCK486D2 kits at around $300 if you can mix and match kits and deals around Amazon, HD and EBay.

I think these are both good recommendations, noting they are basically the same kit except that the 486 kit has a better drill.

I would shoot AT MINIMUM for brushless.
Atomic is the next step up and has some very good tools.
XR is Dewalt's higher line and worth the price if you're using it semi often. (most will be good with 2 speed drill)

If buying stuff one by one, I'd recommend a drill first, then an impact driver, then saws & other stuff as you see fit.
