I logged into both online credit card account but I don't see any pending transactions to unblock.
Do I need to call my credit card and somehow get them to stop blocking buying gift cards on Amazon? How do I do that?
Update:
Called my bank and they didn't see any declined transactions. They told me to contact Amazon.
I had to contact Amazon thru their chat system. The seller was automatically blocking the sale because of the discount coupon. Amazon sent him a message to unblock and they told me I should get it in 2-4 hours.

EDIT - The Chrome browser on my phone kept causing the error to pop up saying it was invalid. I redeemed it on Firefox instead and it worked perfectly.
