If you prefer listening to music on the boomy side and vocals to be muffled these are fine. But the clarity is massively lacking on these.

I purchased a couple to be used in stereo. Gotta say, I also found the sound quality and max volume to be lacking. Same goes for the app(s)

Bought this the last time Walmart had at this price about a month ago, terrible sound quality. Bass was loose and boomy and mids/high were recessed to the point the sound profile is unpleasant. Yes, I used the eq in the Sony app and the difference was marginal, sound is still muffled and awful. Unloaded on eBay after a few days, would definitely not purchase again.

A lot of people believe this however ☝️, many of the reviews that make this claims are from people that don't pay attention to the manufacturer details or believe all the reviews without doing their own research. They have an app that allows you to adjust many frequencies to your liking. I read many reviews like this but I read one guys comment on this and took a chance. Once you download the app and adjust the Equalizer, it sounds fantastic, and at $49, this is a fantastic deal. Will probably be purchasing another one or potentially a few. Thanks OP.

I bought it on the last sale, and it absolutely smokes the speakers in this price range.
It also allows you to steam hi res audio with LDAC support. It is 100% a no brainer at this cost. Might buy another one for stereo!!

It doesn't show at this price? Is this YMMV?

I didn't even know this part. Thanks for letting me know I will definitely be looking into that. I too bought one last time and absolutely love it. I have a Harman Kardon onyx and it's great but that was 20xs more expensive than this and this one sounds almost as good but with that being said, I only spent maybe 3 minutes playing with the equalizer and I'm willing to bet that if I were to spend more time adjusting it I could get it to sound pretty close if not as good as my Onyx.

I actually had to get into the developer options on my Pixel 9 Pro to enable the LDAC function, but I expect it's easier on some other andriod phones. Good luck!

Well it just so happens that I have a Google Pixel 8 Pro so I'm assuming it will be the same. 💯
