The pre-order offer for the S25 series on Google Fi has ended, but they are offering a new promotion for existing customers (new customers should qualify up to Feb 20. but you need to wait 21 days before taking advantage of the offer).

New users should be eligible and should be able to get an additional $60 credit via referral, but you will need to sign up and activate your service no later than Feb 11. After Feb 11, do not use a referral if interested in this offer.

Requires the customer to be on the flexible or unlimited plus plan.

My offer is $650 off. However, it may be YMMV.
This is similar to the preorder offer, where most were offered $650 off, but some customers were invited to a $750 offer.

I received the $750 offer for pre-order, and my post-launch offer is $650.
Perhaps, for those that received the $650 pre-order, their post-launch may be $550/$600? (will update OP once we get a few more data points).

This offer ends on March 14 at 9:59AM PDT.

Some observations from the pre-order offer that likely apply here:
  • Existing customers are defined as those that have had service for >21 days.
    • If you sign up by February 20, you will have enough time to qualify as an existing user by promo end. This should work, but not guaranteed.
  • Using a referral offer may conflict with this promotion.
    • I was unable to take advantage of the $750 off offer because I had an active countdown for my referral credits.
    • However, if you sign up with a referral code + activate no later than February 11, you should qualify for the $60 referral credit + the existing customer discount. I would not bother trying a referral after February 11.
The above is contingent on this being a widely available offer, and not just invite-only... We should see more datapoints come through in the coming day or so.

The users most likely to benefit from this would be those that accepted a referral offer during the preorder period but their countdown prevented them from being able to apply the instant savings.

The terms for my offer are linked here: https://fi.google.com/about/promo...GwqK_fLAYA

I'd say today is the last day to take advantage of the referral offer. It's tight going through today, but I reckon you will make it.

You'll need to activate the plan today, though. Youd need to go the esim route to make this happen.

If you sign up under a referral, take the flex plan, and activate today, your timer should end on March 13. The offer ends March 14 at 9:59am PDT. You should be eligible as an existing customer in 21 days, and then finish the referral offer in 30, before accepting the new hardware offer.

You can always pause service between day 21 and 30 if you feel you won't make it. It should cancel and make you ineligible for the referral offer, but should maintain your existing customer status for the phone discount.

It's very very tight though... You'd literally need to sign up with a referral asap, activate immediately, and then place your s25u order on the 13th/14th (last day).

This is, assuming, that they don't run out (offer continues while supplies last, or through March 14 at 9:59am PDT).
The way s25 sales are going it's possible they will extend the promo again but I'd not bet on it.

And you are on flexible plan, right? Let me know if that works. I can also chat with them then
Update!
I did finally get the credit applied!
They emailed me via the promotions team after being a squeaky wheel, complaining that I wasn't getting the credit to apply, and that I purchased the phone during the promo period.

I was a little worried that since my cycle ends today, and I activated the phone today, that I would need to pay for an extra month at the end (since I need to hold it for 120 days -- which lines up with the end of a cycle). I was concerned that I will need to hold it for 1 more day, which would be the start of a new cycle 😵.
But I just read the terms around suspending / cancelling "flexible" plan service, and it says:

In the Flexible plan, depending on when you paused your service, you won't be charged or you'll get partial credit for the days when your service was paused.

That's great! I don't think they will retroactively do some credit if I chat with them as I have already got the phone. It would have been nice to know why some account got $750 off though...

I'm on Flexible ($20/month) plan and it still has $650 discount with no bill credits. Says offer valid until March 14, 2025 or while supplies last. I've been on the Flexible plan since November, 2024.

Okay I might have jumped the gun given that the last promo offer is listed below and just expired a few days ago. Thank you for confirming wheels. Also if a few others can confirm that the expiration on a current offer hasn't changed. Thanks https://fi.google.com/about/promo...z9qCt-KQYA

For some reason I like being called Wheels haha!! No worries! The good thing about Google Fi is, they will have this same sale throughout the year several times. So if you don't get in on it now, it will indeed come back. Probably the same $650 off. (Maybe 512GB next time???) And yes, at times they will change it to the bill credits. You just have to wait until the $650 instant off comes back.

Yes, the preorder promotion ended but they have the same promo going on till mid March presumably because s25 sales are not that strong. BB fir example is still offering free upgrade to 512GB. $750 off would have been sweet but it seems only some account got it.

The $300 off with 24 credits btw is for new accounts or those that are not on Flexible/Unlimited Plus plans -- there's still time to get this offer, but I would not suggest doing a referral since it won't clear in time to qualify you for the offer

So if I want to do this today as a new user. I should skip referral and just sign up because the $60 referral credit won't be credited on time? I thought this promo runs to March
Hi did you end signing up for fi? If so have you seen the offer almost immediately after singing up or are you supposed to wait?? Has anyone signed up in the last couple of days and seen the offer for existing customers? I am seeing only long time users getting these "existing customer offers"

FI considers you an existing customer after 21 days so that's when you will see the offer. If you have signed up with a referral then there is a referral countdown of 30 days which interferes with promo. As 30 days won't be up by March 14th its recommended you don't do the referral if you want to order before that. On top of these there is $750 off offer which shows up in some accounts, I don't know how they determine that though.
