For all cellphones Activated with TracFone service on the Verizon network on or after November 23, 2021, the cellphone will be remotely unlocked automatically, sixty (60) days after Activation

I never owned an iphone. I don't buy carrier locked androids. I have 2 questions:
  1. Once these carrier locked iphones are unlocked, can they be updated like a factory unlocked iphone or do I need to wait for the carrier to provide the update?
  2. Do these carrier locked iphones have the same specifications like the factory unlocked iphones?
