Can I port out my number before the 30 day payed service and not have it affect the 60 day unlock policy?
I have the same question. I did port my number away.
I'm really hoping that it doesn't mess the unlock process.

My first attempt with Visible phone line was failed because Total wireless did not sent out verification code. Then I port out to US mobile and choose ATT network (Dark Star). The verification code still NOT send out. Am I missing something?
Once you tried the Visible #, which is not eligible because it's Verizon, they know the number even if you transfer to a different service, it's ineligible. Get a google voice number.

So what is out the door cost? any hidden fees ?
In Florida, Total is $0.00 (phone) + $195 (3 month service) + $15 (setup&go service fee) + $59.15 (taxes on full phone price $829). = $269.15

The iPhone 13 in a Total Wireless store is $99 with port and the SE3 is free with port. Both require a plan. No activation.
But have to pay taxes on full price $829 and $15 setup & go service fee.

Anyone know why I can't get the text message ? When I enter my number to see if I eligible I never receive the text with the code. I called support and they said to try again. No help.

I am currently going through Total Wireless HELL! When it works it works. When it doesn't work, be prepared to sit through countless calls with clueless customer support reps. God forbid you need to talk to a CSR. It's not that you get a bad rep and the next one is good. Every single rep sucks. I have spoken to 7 of them and all of them are clueless. Some of them outright lie.

Stay away from TOTAL WIRELESS!

not at the store I went to in CA. I got the iPhone SE3 for free and with plan (no activation, but somebody said they charge now) and a few taxes I was out the door at $103.

Just wait for it to be 49$, you'll be using your ID quota anyway
Is the quota for lifetime or per year? and how many?

Just a data point, tried to purchase with my Google voice number today, and said it's NOT eligible.

Update: seems transient issue, gv number is ok after a couple of days. But I gave up because can't pass id verification process, always got "verification unsuccessful" after submitting my id and mugshot.

Does ID verification mean a hard credit check?

Guys, can I port out a Google voice number and after a month on Total (refusing to pay after one month) port the same number back to Google voice?

This isn't so much better than StraightTalk. Your price in the title doesn't include the plan cost. So it's 150 + 60 = 210. StraightTalk is 250 (200 + 50 plan) and doesn't require ID verification and port.
What's the unlock time?

I've heard horror stories of people trying to unlock their phones on total wireless and trying to leave their service
