The front page deal on the Bitvae model for $10 is almost identical to this and works great. This is basically paying for the name Waterpik. If battery life is a worry, you could buy 3 of the Bitvae model and still save money. I paid $15 for the Bitvae and would buy it again.

Have you used both? The Bitvae is kinda "thick" / is there something with a thinner/narrower water stream?
The Bitvae and the Coslus brands that pop up here are actually better reviewed and you can get them for as as low as $10. Waterpiks are China product and may even be made in the same factory for all I know. My Bitvae C5 a previous model has been working great since a April of last year. My wife has been using Colsus for couple months with no problems.
Best thing since sliced bread for me and I gave up on both my countertop and cordless Waterpiks as the countertop always leaked and the travel was weak and needed constant changing. Great gifts as well to get somebody considering water flossing that will definitely vastly improve your oral and general health.
Does anybody have this can comment if it's good?
I've only ever used corded.
A real waterpik is much better than these portables. Have both. This is mostly a mouth rinser. If you have the space, get a real countertop one. I don't see how these are travel or portable either they're massive, underpowered, and water runs out quickly you have to tilt it around to get it.

I have an older model. I like it better than the countertop one because the hose on my countertop one broke. Reservoir is a bit small but works fine for one rinse. Battery is fine. The only thing I don't like is how the battery charger has to mount a certain direction.

No more counter space so that's why I threw my counter one away. Looking for a portable one now that rivals as much as a counter one.

I replaced my real Waterpik with a cordless but not a Watrerpik one. I bought one of the $10 Btivae ones linked and mentioned in this thread. They are as real and I find better than the Waterpik countertop. Not as counter hogging or messy.
The C5 I have used since last April might be just a tad less powerful but not enough to cause me concern. I only have to charge about once a month and do not have the electric cords on my sink any more and love it. Counter is less likely to get messy and signacatly faster to clean now. No longer have to clean that big machine with all its nooks and crannies. Now a squirt and a run under the water and I am done with the smaller device.
I did have I did have a Waterpik cordless and it was next useless and that is probably what you are comparing to but that is a particular one.
As a category I will say that the new generations of cordless water flossers can replace the Waterpik countertop model. Great advance and value for the consumer that wants to try take care of their oral health and they can get in super cheap.
The cost of the countertop model Waterpik had me passing on it for many years until it was kind of to late and that cost me dearly in maon and money in the future. Now for $10 to $30 people can take up water flossing and that is very good thing.
I also would say we have to be careful not to dissuade people from getting into that. Any water flossing is good and as I have been following these deals I see many are new to it.

Same here there is no going back for me I hated that machine on the counter and they get to be a disgusting mess quick that need constant care and cleaning.
Every countertop Waterpik I had leaked at the bottom valve of the reservoir and would spill a trail of water as I removed it to fill and put it back. Water would pile up under the reservoir area in the machine and get squeezed out onto the contour when putting it back. Really grew to hate it and as I use mouthwash mixed in I had a contact sticky blue mess to deal with daily and weekly good cleaning of the machine that might take 30 minutes.
With these new chargeable portables coming out of China on par with power or even better power and performance I think the time is past for the Waterpik countertop.

From what I've read before, Waterpik is the only one that has the one seal of certification that no other brand has
From what I've read before, Waterpik is the only one that has the one seal of certification that no other brand has
Seals are certification are basically ads. Like the BBB certification they are basically useless and have nothing to do with quality of product. It is only only given out when someone pays for them to do so.
I worked for some of the most corrupt companies imaginable displaying the BBB sign so fools would fall for it and thought it meant some safety or protection or real rating of quality or professionalism.
Doctors and dentists put signs up for latest promoted product in offices. Recently something we were told was certified safe and effective we find out was not.
At some point you have to use your own mind and figure out the games that our society plays. Over many years of being a consumer I have not only learned to not count on such seals of approval but to be more wary of companies that put them forward.
Read about what the ADA and they do. They try to limit more dentists and lower costs for consumers as it is good ol boy network that like their money. There is nothing particularly wrong or evil about that but it is nice to know where they are coming from. I would also 100% guess that their are parties or people on that board that have close current, future or previous relationships with someone at Waterpik. Some that may be on the board could have come from Waterpik and some might go there after leaving the board. Within industries and the boards and agencies that oversee them it is all kind of incentuous.
Product manufacturers are charged $14,500 for each product the ADA evaluates. For products that are approved, manufacturers pay an annual fee of $3,500
The ADA opposes the opening of new dental schools and increases in the number of dental students.[10] The organization has questioned federal data showing a dentist shortage in the United States.[18] In the 1980s, dental schools graduated nearly twice as many students relative to total population as they did in the 2000s.[10]
The ADA has a history of trying to restrict the kind of care that dental hygienists and dental therapists are allowed to provide.
My official Waterpik certified cordless flosser would hardly clean my teeth at all yet Bitvae did which shows the seal meaningness. Nothing was wrong with it was just junky. What did that seal of approval get me but a useless product that could not do what it was intended for. It does cause me concern that the ADA gives that seal to company that puts out such products and proves that my point is valid as to it being meaningless.
Read reviews on Waterpiks and you will see many say the same though they cost five to ten times what other brands do. Payola and good ole boy networks happen in the medical profession and in its boards. If you read research on water flossers in general they all a improve dental health they do not need a particular paid for seal to be effective and perfectly safe.
Think about it. They squirt water between your teeth to clear out debris from between your teeth. It is not rocket science and there is no agency or regulatory authority you need to be safe and to do that.

Thanks. I was going to get both to try but I couldn't relate the price for Coslus.
That happens with those deals often for some reason. It may work one day and not the next. I struggled to get one to apply and could not do it a but left it in cart when I went back to buy something else it was there with the code applied. Codes change often and new ones will pop up in the threads. The deals for both, more so the Bitvae, pop up often and sometimes the deal are called dead and the codes still work. Kind of mess overall but I have snatched up quite few $10 water flossers over some months. The deal are popping up almost daily and add a deal alert if you want more. The codes are also not single use sometimes and I have tried to do two in one day and denied the second use yet Amazon let it go through next day. Sometime the opposite is true and I can but two in a row and get codes applied. All very strange.
They are definitely being promoted and pushed by SD and the maker but I have found them a great deal and value and really nice. Hope you have the same experience.
