Most of the faux leather chairs I have used, even the expensive ones, start peeling off within the first year; then they look so ugly that you have to throw them out...

How has your experience been? Am I doing something wrong?

It's been my experience as well, for everything faux leather actually, however I did read that the high quality ones can last couple years, even though I never stomped upon them.

Nothing good ever comes from purchasing a "gaming" chair.

Get a Hyken or a Dexley from Staples when they go on sale. Hyken for kid or smaller teen and Dexley if taller over 5'10" and over 175 lbs. they last and are decently comfortable.

Don't waste your money on faux leather, that shit will peel in no time. Dexley goes on sale for $100 all the time if you need a budget chair.

FYI I ripped one of these chair cushions open and they use very cheap foam. The manufacturer warranty is good though. they will send you out parts as long as they are in stock. This one to be fair has better cushion then their other chair that reclines and comes with neck and back cushion

Having bought over 50 office chairs for our company, the #1 Rule is to never buy a chair without trying it out first. A chair is not something where can you buy online and tell how comfortable it is by just looking at it.

Personally, I find that no matter what chair you buy, there is never enough foam and padding on the seat. I buy a custom made cushion for the seat.
