Great skates. Bought my son a pair last time they were on SD. The adjustment is nice and easy, can adjust it roughly 3 sizes.

My sons a 2.5 and can easily go from a youth 2-5ish. The adjustment is simple, a screw you twist on the back

I got this last time as well and they're good quality skates. There is a slight gap where the toe cap meets the rest of the boot, but its not bad.

Only complaint I have is that they may be a bit too roomy if the kid is on the 13j end of the size chart.
Obviously this will vary per child and a quick fix is to wear thicker socks or add some insoles.

Also the skate overall is a bit clunky if you're on the lower end of the size chart. Since the adjustment doesn't change the overall length of the skate, it just shortens the liner a bit, this may make it harder to execute crossovers or techniques where you bring one foot in front of the other(basket weaves).

For reference, the difference from 13j(~193mm foot length) to 3(~218mm foot length) is 25mm or about an inch.

This is probably best at sizes 2 and 3 for a more sporty fit. But for just general recreational skating, its probably fine at the 13j and 1 range.
