Is this for hardwire 48a one or plug in 40a? Even if you hardwire 40a version, it will be limited to 40a max charge.
Both 48a and 40a hardwares are identical, and even the internal parts of the 40a model shows 48a. I believe it's the firmware limiting the capability to 40a.
If anyone has information on how to override that would be appreciated.

I believe the stock status is not updated online. When I scan the code on the box it shows the MTV store OOS as well.

Yeah it does not show as in stock anywhere online. It was on a random clearance aisle and It rang up as "site merch." It is the 40a version that can be hardwired or NEMA 14-50. 40a charge speed is plenty for me.

Mine just went through a full year at the beach mounted on an outside wall, taking all sorts of weather hits, including snow and ice, and it's been fine.
