Note - Woot is completely sold out of all editions and Stacksocial has raised their prices. Deal is dead.

Woot still has some legacy digital licenses available. Not as good of a price as in the past but this is probably the best anyone is going to do, once these are gone, you're stuck with the higher prices that include Copilot.

These may even include copilot, since existing subscriptions got it free, one would think extending your subscription might keep it, but not positive on that. Doesn't matter if you don't care about copilot

QA Note: All of the Woot items are out of stock/OOS. Normally I would expire the deal but since the OP did add the Stacksocial alternative, I will just note all the expired Woot items as OOS and leave it live in Hot Deals for the users that do want the Stacksocial options. As of right now, the Personal 15 months $44.97 and the Family 1 year $75.97 are still close to the Woot prices as the OP said.

Stock up now (limit 3 of each per customer) while you still can
-1 Year Personal - $39.99 - https://computers.woot.com/offers...ription-12 - NOW OOS
Available via Stacksocial for about the same price - https://www.stacksocial.com/sales...bscription
-15 Month Personal (better deal) - $45.99 - https://computers.woot.com/offers...cription-5 OOS

Note either of the two above should convert to 9 months of Family (so get the 1 year if you plan to do that).

-1 Year Family - $76.99 - https://computers.woot.com/offers...n-14?gQT=2 - NOTE the better deal here is to get the 1 year personal and convert it to 9 months family which works out to about $53 per year. OOS
-15 Month Family is sold out

Free shipping for all (codes are sent as tracking numbers via email). 3 or 5% cash back if using your amazon card. Couple more percent available via CB sites. Use a non-tax state as shipping address to avoid sales tax (nothing actually ships).

Stacksocial also has them, but after their "processing" fee it comes up about the same price or a tad higher, and honestly the sellers on that site are not always reputable. But if the above sell out, may be worth trying. 1 year personal is still in stock here so if you want to extend your family plan by 9 months, this is the cheapest option now.

Thanks! I don't use copilot at all, let's hope it extends my existing deal.

Or just use a different office suite.

On Macs, there's word processing/spreadsheet/presentation software that come built-in. For everyone else, there's LibreOffice.

If you don't want Ayy-Eye, then don't buy products that use it.

I can't stack anymore until later this year. But I already have some 15 month licenses I paid much less than these prices for.

I'm sure this has been answered before, but I couldn't find it, sorry.

If I have an existing Family license, if I get a Personal license, does it convert to a 9-month extension of the Family? Or does that only work on new Family licenses?

I realize $46 may sound like a lot for a 9-month Family extension, but I'm not sure how much better we'll do going forward. Happy to hear if there are better options.

Thanks.

When you apply the code to your existing family subscription, it will extend it by 9 months. Unfortunately the 1 year and 15 month ones both do that. Looks like the 1 year may be sold out now (SD effect). $46 is still better for 9 months than their 1 year price though.

For some that is an option. For others, the 1TB of online storage and better compatibility with files that multiple people work on makes it worth it.

For me it is even more worth it as I have a custom email domain (old feature, I'm still grandfathered in) hosted with outlook.com. Much cheaper than paying the monthly fee for that service through a business plan. Having the true Outlook client is a major selling feature for me too.

I kick myself for not stocking up on the newegg 15 month ones a month or so ago when it was like $32 and came with some AV program too that you can typically get $15 to $20 for on ebay.

Actually go via stacksocial and get it for $40. I'm a bit less fond of that site, but it isn't a scam and if for some reason it doesn't work, they'll fix or refund you. Looks to be sold by "retailking" and reviews seem fine.

Yep, they were $31 or $32 back in December before they made the change. We won't see those prices again. Even this price will probably never be seen again once sold out.

I barely use the Microsoft products, but it is cheap for the storage.

I do use Classic Outlook solely for printing custom calendars, but once that is no longer supported, I will have no need for any of the Office suite, and can find other storage solutions.

I have about 8 years to figure it all out. If we are all still around then!

Yes I noted that, not a huge fan of the site but since these aren't perpetual keys, you'll know right away if something is wrong. Grey market keys do not give you 1TB of storage, and for subscription plans, require you to set up a new MS account, etc.

If the key works to extend your subscription, it is most likely legit. Just don't hang onto them, apply them to your account right away.

The drawbacks of OpenOffice and Google is that they don't play nice with other software as the majority of the time the formatting goes crazy.
