The benefit of this in particular is the size/portability, and the fact that an Anker probably won't burn your house down. If you need 12V (say you want to charge a 12V DC item), this charger is not capable.

Meanwhile my ugreen chargers I got from Ali express 10 years ago are all working flawlessly lol
Only electronic items with abnormally high failure rates I've owned were PNY, ASUS and anker.
3/3 PNY ssds all failed within 2 years

They are usually larger than the competition (their 45W charger is bigger than 65W chargers I've used), and just in general they aren't great, because they've skimped on engineering. Their 45W adapter can push 45W solo, but as soon as you plug in two phones, changing drops to 12W each. I think that speaks to the fact that they're generally trying to get away with the bare minimum.
