Its not that close, though it isn't a bad TV by any means.

It doesn't have a mini-LED backlight which hurts it. I was looking at one in Best Buy about a week to 10 days ago.

Best TV I've owned. Got same model and size after doing extensive research eight months ago on eBay as well. I was looking for 85' screen glad I got this one though, it's huge.
