Got a Galaxy S21+ from Cellfee ebay store in excellent condition last year (2024). The device was in superb condition with almost perfect cosmetic condition, battery health was also good, with around 85% checked with Accubattery.
But after a few months the phone literally started bootlooping and not turning on or going to recovery mode. Only to download mode. So I flashed latest Samsung firmware which made the device work for a very short time like 10 minuites which started bootlooping again.
Overall not really satisfied but at least cosmetic condition was very good.

I ordered an unlocked S22 Ultra off of backmart in fair condition. My order was fulfilled by this company. The phone arrived in very poor condition, but since I was putting it in a case, I thought I could deal with it. The phone had scratches all over the entire screen, with one being very deep, potentially even a crack. After putting my sim card in I discovered the phone was not unlocked. I sent that phone back and requested a replacement. The next phone that arrived was in far better condition, but no where near what I would call "fair". The screen had a bunch of scratches again, but the sides, top and bottom of this phone were so beat up that the color of the phone was worn off. Again, I'm putting it in a case, so it doesn't matter. The first day was fine, this phone was actually unlocked. When I got home at the end of the day the phone was nearly dead and I plugged it in. Came back a few hours later and the phone was still nearly dead. It hadn't been charging. So I took it to another charger and it wouldn't charge on that one either. The only way I could charge the phone was wireless. Needless to say I returned the phone and requested a refund. This is really a shame because I've bought six phones off of backmarket and I've never had an issues until I bought from this seller. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I bought a s21 ultra in august 2024. The phone was shipped and lost by ups. The seller is now refusing to comply with ups(ups has already admitted fault, and sent a refund to cellfeee) and they are refusing to refund me,stating that they are going off the shipping information even though UPS THEMSELVES stated that the shipping info is wrong. These people are thieves DONT BUY ANY PRODUCTS FROM THEM. It is now October the 26 2024 and they are refusing to comply with the ups refund system

Was sent a lost/stolen useless iphone that could not be activated and was referred to some ebay insurance which provided no support. Stuck with 350+$ charge when merchant disputed the dispute on credit card. This post stays on this site until I get my money back.

Good advice from someone on Reddit:

That's a real suspect price for brand new. Looking at the listing all the photos are "default" type photos. None of them appear to be the actual device you'll recieve.
Lots of shady sellers now on eBay, listing stuff as new and then you get it and it's been opened. Some ppl might not care, but not the definition of "brand new". Then if you want to return they'll be super difficult and/or want you to pay return shipping fees and restocking fees.
Not to dissuade you but you do have to be careful buying high priced stuff on eBay anymore. At the end of the day nobody can tell you one way or another.
At the very least I'd ask the seller for the IMEI number to check if it's blacklisted. If they refuse run away. I've always used Swappa for second hand phones because they have to pass IMEI checks to even be listed. Not the case on eBay.
If you feel it's legit that's a hell of a low price.

I would strongly warn against buying a refurb Samsung Fold. Once the screen goes, and it will -- mine broke 3 times in 2 years -- the repair cost will be over $600.

Worrying too much about a $350 phone... When you want a deal, you take your chances.. LOL

Idk if youve seen the economy lately…but $350 matters. That's not chump change.

Just curious would you consider a folding phone a luxury item?

Anyone has experience with the allstate warranty in terms of how easy it is to claim if the phone break? I used to have a Fold 4 and the inner screen just go all black. Apparently a well known issue with the Fold 4.
i have. Funny my fold 4 broke 2 weeks before the 1 year warranty expires. You will need to go to a repair shop (uBreakIfIx in my area), get a quote. You will most likely get quoted more than your purchase price. Then Allstate will write a check to you of your purchase price contingent on sendin the phone back. They are fair and easy to work with. Only thing is I didnt have photos backup turned on so i lost some photos.

I feel with Folding phones you need to alwasy assume phone will die any time. Other than that its all good.

I personally would avoid any third party so-called 'refurbished' items, there's an another name for them: used. Only buy refurbished phone from the phone company. I've done many times and no issue, cuz phone companies have the same standard for refurbished and new phones but probably different package and warranty. They will give you new battery, new outer screen, and so on, making sure the refurbished one almost exactly the same comparing to a new one. Some companies like dell don't repackage the returned items and resell them like new, they directly refurbish them.

It probably won't even last a day with the worn out battery and it says "In good condition with scratches and dents.." Scratches I expect, but the word dents turns me off on it.

I got a Fold 4 on ebay with the Allstate warranty on it. The screen on the inside went out. I sent it in using the Allstate warranty, and they sent me another Fold 4. It was surprisingly easy, quick, and didn't cost me any more money. Nothing bad to say about the warranty at all.

I had this phone and the inside screen cracked down the middle within a year! Buy at your own risk, but for under $400 it has alot of bells and whistles for the alternative at that price.

I've used to have fold 3 with same issue and allstate fixed it in 2 days and sent me back in brand new bezel, screen, battery....except the mainboard. Very good experience so far. Btw, I'm using the fold 4 for over 2 years now and yes, it has very well known issue with inner screen (the cable will be failure) and I've end up replacing it out of warranty 😞 Labor and cost here in CA was 550 last time. That's hurt. So with this deal, i think it's sleak if you would like to experience a foldable device with 1 year of Allstate as peace of mind 😉
