Decent deal but not a Slick Deal.
My thoughts: This is almost certainly old stock. It has the MICRO USB connector. The new ones have USB C connectors. Also, this one (SP40) has the XPL "pebbly" reflector, making it more of a spread-type, flood beam that is not as focused as the polished, super smooth reflector, the LH351D, as on the SP40A. In addition, other similar type lights have interchangeable batteries, where one can swap out the rechargeable with AAs. This is very useful when out in the bush, etc where you don't have access to, or want to carry, a charger. Having the ability to throw in universally available AAs is a very good feature since carrying around a power bank and cable is not as convenient in a crunch. Anyone out hunting, etc carries backup batteries. Adding a power bank and cable to your travel kit is not nearly as convenient, let alone fast. It is not reasonable to use this with a power bank in a crunch (if even possible).

I ordered 4 sc31 flashlights and they only sent me one. I emailed them today and am waiting for a response. If no response I will filename charge back. Did you get your $ back?

I own the HS41 which is just over the free shipping threshold and more powerful for those who just want one. First unit developed a problem but Sofirn troubleshooted over email and the battery was good so I got a new light.
Bit heavy to wear on your head, no?
I have the HS40, replaced the tube to fit an 18350 cell which makes it really small and light. Don't like the tint though.
HS20 is my favorite.

that's a lot more lumens for sure but who the hell has 21700 cells laying around while you can salvage alot of 18650s. I like my sofirn lights. The most annoying thing is actually the headbands, they stretch and wear out over time and I don't see much cheap replacements.. Not a sofirn issue, just a general headlamp issue.
believe it or not that's all I have, because they don't fit it anything lol

yeah, it is. mine just came in yesterday - a little confusing though because the directions say to unscrew tail cap but mine only unscrews at the body/bulb section.

edit: nvm, i actually got the TD04 so

This is what these lights should cost, less even considering lack of customer service, less regulation in China and no need for costly marketing like black diamond or petzl. This is how inflation seeps into our country, allowing foreign manufacturers charge local prices and netting larger profit margins when cutting out US-based middle men. These should be $20 all day long and $15 or less to be considered on sale

Yeah it's fairly heavy, I got a couple coming one that's zoomable and another with a red light, I suspect those will get more use.

Energizer.
I agree and I have both. There is no difference between these 2 in terms of light output.
