There is a big difference between "factory blemished" and "refurbished". Factory blemished is a new product with the same warranty as new. They are labeled as blemished due to damaged packaging (allegedly), but in reality it's just a way to sell new products cheaply and not piss off other retailers. Refurbished products are used products that have been returned to the company under warranty and are then repaired and re-sold.

It is widely known that DTO is a TTI direct marketplace and they sell their new stuff as "blemished" to get around their retail deals with Home Depot and Walmart.

The only blemish / difference from buying a new one from one of the stores would be you might get a "blemished" sticker on the box. Otherwise it'll be 100% new, with no blemishes, and a full warranty. Has been this way for years.

Boy the times have changed. Use to be able to pick up a bench grinder at big lots or Menards for $19. Expensive now. I might get one thx.

The RPM wasn't listed anywhere so I had to dig around to find it on another website. The RPM is 3,500.

Pretty well convinced this is nearly identical to the bauer they sell at harbor freight for 50 bucks, or 40 if you have inside track club. 28 bucks seems reasonable for cheap bench grinder these days.

Multiple blemished tools ive gotten also had the plastic "branded"/melted somewhere I guess to differentiate that it's not brand new.... But otherwise was brand new....
