If you want something just for media consumption, it's fine for that --- but if you plan on doing anything else with it, I'd look for anything not Amazon branded.

(edit) clowns can downvote all they want, but I'm on my third Kindle and you get what you pay for with these. They are disposable tablets that have problems after a couple of years and you are buying a "refurbished" model (which probably means a trade in with nothing done to it) that is four years old. Buyer beware. The upside is that they are cheap so it's a low risk, but they are still relatively low quality. Files get corrupted and there's no way to repair them that I'm aware of. The screens develop spots from pressing on them. Buying anything refurbished via Woot is a major risk to begin with. The best part of Kindle ownership is that I can trade in my faulty models for new models when there's a promotion... so you are often buying those same faulty models.
