E85 = 15% ethanol dilution.

Ethanol gums up engines - this is why typical gasoline since the 2000s will brick your lawnmower - need to take apart carburetor and clean to get working again.

Using ethanol free gas (usually available at Sheets, Wawa, etc) is best for vehicles, lawnmowers, and everything else. Better MPG as well because gasoline is more energy dense than ethanol.

Ethanol is the reason engines need these cleaners in the first place.

Ethanol is to engines what high fructose corn syrup is to the human body; they both come from corn, heavily subsidized by our tax dollars.

It might. I'd skip it.
But, you may need evaporator cleaner as cheap try to fix the code.
If it will not address the issue then look for O2 sensors, likely to be replaced. You need to check for both before and after O2 sensors via OBD2 to see which one isn't good.
And the worst case CAT converter replacement.
If above are unknown for you then talk to trusted mechanic.

The Fuel System cleaner has more than the injector cleaner.

they have diff marketing verbs. the same formula and ingredients. bottles sold at walmart contain a little more in oz. but only clean up to 12 gal. the ones sold at advance discount auto or lowes home depot sold in less oz but claimed to clean up to 14 gal. all adverised as super concentrate.

I went to Auto Zone and they diagnosed my car with an OBD and they printed out what exactly the problem was and how to fix it. My honda needed the valves adjusted.

If this one works, lacquer thinner can do the job at lower cost.

Not uncommon on Honda top end.. Got my car smogged today and an '04 mint Acura TL was getting a valve gasket and valve adjustment. Spend the money.

Know what else is also heavily subsidized in the US? Oil.

Good points, I'd also try replacing your gas cap before all of this as it's one of the cheapest fixes.

You need a lot of patience with all of these options and ability to reset obd codes and wait for s drive cycle to complete.
Pay up if you want it done faster though results are ymmv.
