Good price per camera when factoring in the included solar panels. Anyone have these? Any good?

Heres a video review of the 2k version (the one in this thread), most of the reviews I saw on YouTube were the older 1080p version.

Bump for the afternoon people since I posted this around midnight when most people were probably asleep.

Bought and installed one of these for my parents a few months ago for their back deck/driveway and it's pretty solid. Setup was extremely simple and the video quality is crisp even at night. Solar panel works great, the battery stays at 100% even with it warning me the camera is turning on too much and could drain the power. My only issue is the smart detection is kind of iffy. Doesn't always detect when a car is pulling into the driveway but will send a Vehicle Detected alert sometimes when they let their chonky black lab outside. It does detect when someone gets out of the car or walks up the driveway so it still gets the job done. Could also just not have the sensitivity high enough for that specific detection, I haven't played with it enough

Your welcome, I got a set myself to replace my aging Blink X2 cameras that are starting to fail and don't have any people/pet/vehicle detection. Don't forget that the Tapo cameras don't come with any on board memory so you have to buy SD cards for internal storage or subscribe to their paid cloud service.

Set mine up 2 months ago in a low-traffic area, only filled up 200MB so far. Keep in mind it's a battery-operated camera; may not be able to sustain 24/7 recording. On the other hand, don't want to put a cheap card in a device that will be out of reach if card needs to be replaced.
That said, I got Wal-Mart's Onn brand 64GB U3, 2-pack for $13 (YMMV).

I have the older 1080P version and it's not reliable, keeps going offline every few days requiring physical reboot, the user reviews seem to indicate the issue remains with this version

The model of the camera is TC82. I believe the whole set is the TC82 kit.
