Actually a 5090 would be better, but that's not the point is it. If the 1650 were the same price then you would have a good comment there, but this site is all about "is this a good deal for this item" not "is this the best item, period".

I'd try and nab a used 5700xt for this price point. I see them pop up locally for 100-120. Not as easy as having stuff mailed to your house though, I know.

I mainly kept an eye out for this card to repurpose an old Dell Optiplex SFF I had laying around into a living room console. The 5700xt wouldn't be able to fit. Valve did say they are planning to support Nvidia on SteamOS so 1650 might be the better choice in performance. But who knows how good that driver is going to be or when it will be confirmed available. So this was just a good deal I found for my specific use case.
