Do I need to order esim or physical sim from visible, I only want a number to port to metro for this deal?
You can choose either, though e-sim will allow you to activate and port your new visible # much sooner.

I got the error after i entered all the details and submitted on the final page. But now when i try i get this error right at the beginning.
Unfortunately, this number can't be transferred. Try another number or choose a new number to continue.
Metro port dept said they can't help without having a metro phone number. Anyone else faced this issue ?
Call them!

Bummer. I ordered one iPhone 13 before the price drop and I also got in on the tablet deal. When I tried to get another iPhone 13, it tells me my account is not eligible to add a line. Is there a workaround on this issue?

It depends on whether the phone you'll use to activate the sim is capable of eSIMs, and if the phone itself is unlocked and thus capable of being used to get a Visible line. If you have a eSIM unlocked phone, it's much better b/c you can get the number and port out info instantly. if you need to do a physical SIM (like me) because your phone is old, you'll have to wait a week for the SIM to show up.

Edit: FYI, confirmation email comes from Tmobile and not Metro.

Do I need to have a phone to activate visible esim in order to get porting info? I don't have any phone with esim capability and if I wait for a week to get physical sim, this deal may be gone. Is there any workaround this?

So, just pay for one month and then let the service lapse for 12 months to unlock. What will be the phone's trade in value 12 months from now?

Yup. You need to actually add the SIM to a phone, and activate it. You can't get the port-out info until you do. This applies to both physical SIMs and eSIMs.

Thanks everyone . I'm able to place two orders with different credit cards. Visible path is easier.

So, the best thing about this deal: you don't need to wait 12 months to trade it in, regardless of where you trade it in. Locked devices seem to be taken EVERYWHERE as trade-ins.

I had to call to activate the tablet line in order to add a phone line

I got metro if I add a line and cancel this flex crap, will they remove my 25 a month plan?

Or can I put the 13 on my main line and sell my phone?

I don't know what to do with the 13 since it doesn't unlock for a year, apple probably gives 250 credit for this towards a 16 so it's still like 550 for it.

Just curious, how long do I have to wait before i can sign up for 2nd line on Visible? The 1st line was signed up in November. I use different e-mail and credit card, still no go. Thanks.
