This CPU is not among the ones that were affected. It was mainly the HX series and that too esp the desktop variants.

That's a lot of laptop for the price. Very balanced specs too.

Good deal, and I love my 12th gen Slim 7i, but I'm a little leery of Intel 13th and 14th generation CPU Refurbs. They had an overvoltage issue that was resolved with a firmware update, but some of the CPUS were permanently damaged when this occurred. I doubt the cpu was replaced on this laptop.

I don't care that much about a second NVME because I can always upgrade the first one. However, 16GB of permanent RAM is a deal breaker. Too bad the screen is nearly 4K too.

I just got the Acer Aspire 3 Laptop 15.6" 1TB AMD Ryzen 5 7520U 2.8GHz Certified Reburbished
for $272 deal. Looks like the biggest win this has over it is the screen, build quality, and slightly processor wise depending on who you ask. Is it worth the extra skrilla? Should I return the Acer and plop down the extra cash?

Not really comparable. This Lenovo is smaller, has all metal build, good screen, backlit keyboard etc. Whether that's worth twice the price it's up to you. If you will carry the laptop around a lot, this is probably better as it's smaller lighter and more robust.

I bought this PC new. Light, great screen, good battery life but not as good as advertised. Yes, 16GB ram is not expandable, wish I knew. However, the PC would frequently freeze for several secs even when I am doing simple things (a few web pages).....Not what I expect from a PC with these specs. Yes, I have updated to all firmware and updates, even updated with Lenovo Vantage.

Ordered this three days ago and it still hasn't shipped. Per Lenovo, they are experiencing issues at their warehouse. A bit frustrating as I'll be out of town on 2.19 and Ebay said delivery would happen between 2.13 and 2.18.

Agreed
Too good spec's for this price.
If someone can vouch that I can get at least 7 to 8 hours battery life for normal usage I will pull the trigger

Great price and specs but condition might be hit or miss. Ordered it last time and got one with a hinge problem - the lid would barely stay in place (apparently, it is a common issue for that hinge type).
