Do these brick your dock or switch?
I bought mine; 65w red/blue last year in Feb. While my kids don't use it every day it's worked very well. Fingers crossed, but Switch isn't bricked yet.

Why would this brick a Nintendo Switch?

When the Switch first came out third party docks would brick consoles left and right. The problem went away over time

I grabbed the 65w also with the code. Hoping this will make my gaming travel pack a little smaller.

This vs ROG?
I have the ROG 65W Adapter-Dock I use with my Ally X and I picked up the Mirabox 65W Adapter-dock for my wife's Steam Deck and Switch the last time it was on sale.
They both work perfectly with both the Ally, Steam Deck, and Switch, allowing for charging, video out, and plugging in a USB SSD or controller on all 3.
For the Ally X the Mirabox is fully detected for allowing Turbo mode.
The biggest difference is the included USB cable and form factor. The USB cable included with the ROG Charger is WAY higher quality then then the one included with the Mirabox. The ROG's for factor works a bit better for when you need to plugin into an outlet behind a nightstand at a hotel (IMHO) but other then that they're pretty much on par with each other.
Get whatever is cheaper would be my suggestion.

this should work on any portable consoles or devices if it meets the watt requirement.
Tempted to get the 67W version for my laptop, just in case I need the couple extra watts of juice.
I'd tried the ROG 65W dock last year, but it didn't work with my laptop. My laptop charges fine with other 65W chargers. Yes, I had updated the firmware on the dock.

Anyone have feedback on this 65W version vs the Asus Rog version?
I have both the ROG Charger and this Mirabox one and both work perfectly on my Ally X and older Ally and allow for full turbo mode.
My suggestion is get whatever one is cheaper

What's the difference between the 65w version and the 67w version other than 2 watts? Not well versed in this area. Seems like a minor increase for 20% more in price, but there must be a reason for it. Thanks!

Lookinh at the fine print on the 65w and 67w docks, it says the output of the USB-c port is only 60w. (So, these probably won't work for my laptop). Typically on chargers with multiple ports, the USB-c would get the full output when it's the only port used. If you plugged in things on both the USB-c and USB-A, the. power would be split, e.g 45w/20w

Reading the Amazon page it actually looks like the USB-A slot maxes out at 5w (USB2.0 Port Power Output: 5V1A) which is kind of low but obviously not the port you're supposed to use for your main device.

just a heads up for anyone considering using this as a dock for a laptop... unless your laptop is one of those 45W laptops.... its not going to work.

i bought the 67W last year. it maxes out at 62W so most modern laptops and surface tablets that need 65W wont be able to charge.

Edit: never mind. Just saw the picture of Steam deck in description.

Btw does it work with only Switch or can I use other devices like laptops or steam deck?
I bought the 65 watt version a couple years ago on a similar sale. Yes these work with laptops or other devices. Essentially they are like a mini dock. Plug a USB hub into the USB port with a mouse and keyboard and there you go. Only 1 HDMI port but with 4k 60 hz it's good enough to support an ultrawide like a 3440 x 1440 which I find pretty awesome for productivity tasks.

At these prices it's hard to say "why not" and just have on hand.

When the switch first came out it's usb c wasn't designed to the standard for usb c to which caused certain cables and accessories to provide to much power and burn out the switch- blame Nintendo for that, but it's mostly been fixed

Personally I used this for my laptop and while using it the 65W Blue Mirabox it became noticeably hotter to the touch than the ROG did. I returned it out of precaution and keep using the ROG with no issue.

In for one 67W unit (with coupon code came to $30). Will save me one power and HDMI port (switch and steamdeck).
