As with all Tello deals, this can be combined with a referral to get $10 Tello dollars to use in the future. And if you don't really need 35GB, you can downgrade after month three. Tello makes it easy to change each month, so you don't have to pay for more than you need. And while it doesn't work for this plan, if you have a fixed amount of data/minutes, you can rollover unused units by manually renewing a day before the autopay.

!!!Warning!!!: They operate on a 30-day billing cycle (28 days in February), effectively shortening the billing period and costing you an extra month every four years. Over time, they steal 5–7 extra days from you per year. I'd recommend considering an alternative.

How do you want to use it? If you want to get calls and texts abroad while using wifi or a second sim with data, yes it will work without extra cost. If you want international roaming, you will need to add paygo funds and toggle on that feature. The FAQ say you need $5 of paygo to use that feature, but the minimum top off is $20. And those funds have an expiration date if not used in conjunction with a monthly plan.

I have Tello. 5gb/month for like $14. It has been great. It was very easy and quick to switch from Ting. Been very happy. I've had Ting, Wing, and now Tello. Very satisfied.

Only one more day of this promotion! I just signed up a new account and have a few observations:
- I received the $10 in Tello dollars immediately after the order processed.
- Unfortunately, it looks like eSIM service also started immediately. I was hoping the month wouldn't start until I activated the eSIM. I'll update this if the renewal date changes when I do activate next week.
- I was also able to get another $1.50 off the first month with code 10OFFAFF.

There is a fairly good reason to go with "the big 3". MVNOs get deprioritized and throttled first before post paid during network congestion issues ... Claiming there is zero reasons is wrong
Prioritization varies among mvnos. Us mobile's can vary by chosen carrier too. Ymmv, but I'm using their unde-prioritized Verizon service and often get 10x Visible's (Verizon's subsidiary) speeds simultaneously from same tower

Definitely! Tello always gives a new number when you purchase a plan and has you port later. If you order a physical SIM, you can also put off activating until closer to the time you need it so you get the full month.

Seems like three of the best big data plans currently are

Tello 35GB Premium, 5GB Hotspot, $25/mo
Boost 35GB Premium, 12GB Hotspot, $25/mo when purchased yearly
US Mobile Unlimited Premium, Unlimited Hotspot $32.50/mo when purchased yearly
Thank you 🙏 Does any of those companies offer free out of country calls (Asia) included in that plan?

I'm not familiar with the other plans quoted, but Tello offers free international calling to 60+ countries. You can check specific countries here: https://tello.com/international-calling

Interesting how they shorten it in Feb to 28. It is was 30 days year round one could say it makes billing easier.

There are 365 days per year. That's an average of 30.41 days per month.
Do you pay for 30 days? What's the breakdown per day?
What happens with the longer months that have 31 days?

This is simply not true. My Feb billing cycle is 30 days exactly.

I'm not exactly sure how it works, noticed that my billing date had shifted more than 10 days earlier over the years. When I checked the billing details, I discovered this practice.
