I would be worried about fakes and clones getting mixed in with Amazon's inventory. Hopefully someone else price matches.

Some still like 3.5mm for stuffs like laptop, PC, Switch, ect. And apple earphones are pretty good quality for $16 really.

There are dozens, if not hundreds, of iems of the same price that will absolutely blow these out of the water. A few examples of the best in the $15-20 range:

KBEAR KB01
Moondrop Chu II
Tangzu Wan'er
QKZ x HBB
Ziigat NUO
Tanchjim Bunny
KZ Castor Pro
KZ EDC Pro ($5 and sounds multiple times better than the Apple headphones)

Don't waste your money on this e-waste

this is unfair by Apple still selling these outdated earpods with 3.5 jack port, when apple stops it few years ago in their iphone/ipad lineup.

I tend to agree. The only reservation I would have with some of these is that sometimes the mic quality can be bad on the mic versions. Not always, just sometimes in my experience. I know it's not the reason most buy these, but for some it is.

From third party sellers, that's a valid concern. But this seems to be from "Apple Store" inside Amazon.

I always keep 2-3 pairs of these laying around. I also have my Airpod Pro's but when I am on the train into NYC, I don't want to risk losing those, so these work fine

That's for aux-in. I have yet to see a use case where you would plug earphones into a car.

Are you saying that based on trying it yourself or frequency response graphs?

I'm curious how these sound compared to my KZ/Tanchjims I daily. I haven't used apple 3.5 earphones in a decade

Samsung used to bundle nice wired headphones with their earlier Galaxy series and I was unable to find genuine OEM ones later (a ton of fakes). Then Pixel phones early on also had good ones. One of the best I had were the ones that came with the Amazon Fire phone lol, really wish they still have those.

Not sure how these are but interested as I still keep them around for airplane/travel use....and I lose them too often.
