Thanks OP. Coupon code worked for me. Planning to use this for PC-to-TV game streaming via https://moonlight-stream.org/

Never used an ergonomic mouse before. Is this good for that? My wrist-to-thumb area is hurting a lot. Hoping changing the mouse will help.

If you can do it, I switch from right handed to left handed mouse about every year. I also switch the main clicker to my middle finger about every six months.

Loud clicks, obsolete mouse, doesn't wake up unless you click on it 3 times … shameful product.

"Loud" is subjective especially when many of us pair it with a mechanical keyboard, the mouse going to sleep after 10 minutes of use might actually pretty useful to a person who forgets to turn off their mouse in their laptop bag (plus not like 3 clicks is a painful process once or twice a workday when you are likely to click about 2,000-5,000 clicks beyond that on the same day)....and not sure what makes the mouse "obsolete."

LOL, someone is taking a $9 mouse a little too seriously Wink

You can try an Ergonomic Vertical Mouse. It's a different concept designed to prevent wrist fatigue, but not everyone likes it.

Nulea MD280 is currently on sale for $14.99 - $5 coupon = $9.99
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DC6JYJ9J

Or Anker for $21.99
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Wire...B00BIFNTMC

Logitech or HP brands are $50+.

Yes I am on 3000 for default. I do bump it up when I'm in figma and and other large canvas programs. I use a 5x5 mousepad area. If I went lower, I would have to get a larger mouse pad and for gaming I would be doing the lift and shift to cover the same distance. It takes time to go higher DPI, but your wrist and shoulder will thank you in the long term.

I switched to my left hand due I broke my thumb, it felt funny for like a couple of months but after a couple of years later I can say it was the best move

This isn't a very radical "ergonomic" design and I'd suggest people get the more shark fin looking ergonomic mice that are available. Even the modern generic amazon $9.99 ones are really good now and I've been using one for months, and I have a bunch of Logitech and Razer gaming mice including a g502 lightspeed. if I'm gaming competitively I will switch to the g502 but otherwise I just use the shark fin-y wireless cheap ergo mouse. I had an anker wired shark fin like 5 years ago and the sensor in the ergo mouse I have now is way way better, good enough to casually game with easily. My wrists feel way better now than they did before.

The idea of having a lefty mouse to spread the damage around as it were is a great one.

cheap mouse, but be aware this is "acer gadget" so its basically a generic chinese company's mouse, with the licensed acer logo like all the other random usb hubs and such that are acer these days

I used to have pain to use regular mouse daily at work, switched to vertical mouse, the wrist pain is gone. but YMMV.
