Any chance these would be good for Music listening speakers on a computer or would people recommend other options?

These are are not powered, so you would have to power them somehow. You could use a small tube hybrid amp which is what im in the market for.
Otherwise you may be better off with their powered offerings. R41PM comes to mind. On Amazon now for I think 199 or the R50PM. Litle more expensive but better sound quality.

I have these as my L/R for my home audio system. OOTB they are bright (such is the Klipsch brand) but the grills help a good bit with that. As the previous poster mentioned this requires a power through an amp or other AV unit. If you have a mid/high end EQ correction technology available, this pair performs at a much higher level than the price would indicate.

Their vertical dispersion in practice is not that good (+-10 degrees) so these need to be at roughly ear level for good results. Horizontal dispersion is great. 80 hz is the bottom of the unit's effective range. You will need a sub for best effect (or if your primary media needs it). Erin's audio corner has a work up on this unit and imo it matches real world results.

The RP-504c II is a crazy center that also goes to at least 60 Hz (it's ported). I really enjoy it in my Klipsch system.

I am looking for a budget pair of good speakers for my PC I am absolutely considering an amp and unpowered speakers. This way I can upgrade the component that I want.

Looking to get a 5.1.4 system for my Integra DRX 3.4. Been thinking about a system based on Klipsch RP-8000F II. The price here seems ok but feel like I've seen bundles for ~$300 less than buying the individual components here. Anyone have thoughts or suggestions?

Go for the bundle, although now with the tariffs coming in, I'm not sure the prices will get as low as they did. Adorama had a great deal last year. Klipsch needs a little bit of eq, but the rp2 line is a lot more neutral and eq able with the integra rc. If you get the rp8060fa2 then you can get away with 2 rear Atmos speakers. Totally recommend your 5.1.4 idea. Integra has pre outs so you can amp it too. Go with one of the buckeye hypex ones and you'll be set for years.

Thanks OP. In for a set of Walnut RP-600M II.

I recently grabbed The Sevens from that other deal (now $799), and I absolutely love the sound from them, but mine came with a noticeable idle hiss (and use 20W idle), so they're going back..

These share a very similar woofer + tweeter/horn design, so I'm hoping they'll compare reasonably well to The Sevens. I'll be driving them with an SMSL SA300.

An absolute steal at this price. I've been using them as mains in a 3.1 home theater setup (with an SVS-PB1000 sub) and really like the results. Likewise, music in stereo is fantastic...great imaging and dynamics. In the bookshelf category, you'd have to spend a LOT more to get better performance.

I've been using these along with a small hybrid amp (Douk Audio ST-01 PRO 200W... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BBRBW...b_ap_share) which has worked out nicely.

As with basically all audio components - it's subjective, and it depends on specific deals and what kind of use case you're going for...

FWIW, I've had my eyes on the Klipsch SPL-100 (10") @ $250 [crutchfield.com] recently as an upgrade to my older Polk PSW10 that always eats up a continuous 11W, even in 'standby'. The SPL-100 (and SPL-120 - which is part of this sale @ $379) boast a 0.5W idle.
Seems like either would pair well with these RP-600M IIs for small/mid-size setups. My use case is desktop speakers in a relatively small ~13 x 11ft office, hence going for a more compact sub.

I bought these from Adorama sale. I have speakers on top of speakers and subs on subs. With these setting beside my 7lll's, from 16ft, two rsw12 subs, I can't tell much difference until I crank up the db. I am using the 600 with a small tube pre/amp combo, 2 Episode Evolution 8" subs for music late in the evening/night. I think they sound great for $300.
