I have this from last time it was on sale. I like it but I would not say the interface is intuitive or user friendly. It defaults to having the preheat and the flip reminder on. I don't understand the preheat function particularly. It gets to a temp, then you pull the basket out and all the hot air comes with it. By the time you load your food into the basket there's no way any of that heat has remained. Perhaps I'm missing something but it seems useless.

Bought it in December and use it once or twice a day. It has no smells and has been fantastic. I've even made ribs in it and will air fry Costco cooked chickens to get them nice and crispy. I've owned a few fryers and this one is solid. If I had any complaint, it would be to make it slightly bigger but it's been fine for a family of 3.

I have a big cuisineart and it just doesn't air fry that well…. So I got a little Gourmis for the girlfriend and it works great….so since it's just me and the gf taking turns at each other's house I got one for me that didn't work that well so I returned it and got one closer to the one the I got the gf and it works great…..

I did put a silicone insert, tray thingy in both to prevent eating any PFOA but I wonder when they will be unsafe or toxic…..

All of the gourmia air fryers I checked out only went to 400f…… so I'm a little bit skeptical that this one has a 450f setting but I could totally be wrong I am no gourmia expert….
I have this, confirmed it goes to 450! This one is better than other gormia's I have for that max temp alone.

Are the folks complaining about the smell noticing it more after washing? I noticed certain detergents will make the air fryer smell on first use, particularly cascade dish washer detergent and dawn power wash. But regular dish soap and hand washing doesnt smell.

I purchased this from Costco 6 months ago. Have always hand washed. Last week the interior basket has chipped away the black coating/paint. Not sure if I can return being 6 months old. Just letting you know.

It's has more to do with heating up the basket and grill to a hot temp than the actual ambient air temp, it helps for a more consistent cook.

I'm confused about one thing, so if someone knows the answer, I would really appreciate it...

If I buy this from their Same Day service, can I still return it past 90 days? The Instacart return policy says that Costco only has 90 days, but the Same Day Costco site seems to say it's 90 days for some (the usual, I'm guessing) items.

There's a $15 off $50 coupon available for Same Day, which is why I'm wondering. Thanks!

I got one of these during the Walmart black friday deal, it works great and the smell burns off after you run it for a good half hour. This is my second Gourmia and they are quality units, I had Kalorik that I got BF 2022, not nearly as good as the Gourmia's. I pretty much keep these for two years or so then get another one during black friday, always pay less than $50. Window is plastic

Returned 2 already.
different model, same brand units to Costco for malfunction. Won't touch this brand. At least Costco return policy is no hassle.

Maybe I'm an outlier but I got mine around September and use it about once a week. I haven't noticed any issues. Run it for a couple cycles on the highest settings to get any kind of scent out. It does its job for heating up frozen foods (i.e. nuggets or chicken strips) or getting your leftovers warm and crispy. I've never used an air fryer for real cooking and this seems to do the job perfectly.

I have always wondered if basket and materials inside are plastic coated or painted that can seep into your food. is it safe or is it more like a micro wave. Pardon my ignorance.
