I got this and had zero plastic smell at all.

Not all air fryers have that smell. Been going strong for 6 months and I like that it has the window, light, and gets to 450 degrees while most air fryers top out at 400.

Good practice to run things like this outside for a while on the highest settings a few times to offgas. Think of how long it takes that "new car smell" to totally disappear. Everything has residual from manufacturing unless it's high-end medical or aerospace equipment.

All that plastic transfers to your food smell wise

I am not sure how people can stand these things

Does this one stink like plastic? Had a Gournia before no problem with the smell, got the Walmart one last week and it stinks to high heaven.

Is the window plastic or glass? Some of the reviews mention glass, but it doesn't seem clear if it's really glass - or if there's glass on the inside and plastic on the outside.

At least it's from Costco, so it's easy to return if it's terrible.

Probably the thermal fuse - I have an almost 10 year old one which I've replaced the thermal fuse twice now. It's a <$1 repair.

Decent air fryer. Seems to have two windows and I sometimes get some moisture when doing a through cleaning that ends up getting removed after a cook. I would prefer no window myself.

Just remember to remove the food packaging before cooking.

If cost was the issue rather than space I would be all over this.

The outer pane is plastic, the inner pane is glass.

This is 100% correct.

My friend grabbed one for me in store a couple months ago. I love it, it's way more efficient than my old air fryer.

I have this one and really like it. Had a power xl previously and didn't like that one at all. I don't use it often, but it works well overall.

I like the window and the second level with the stand. The sounds/chimes are much nicer as well….but that has no effect on the cooking.
