Unfortunately t mobile charges $30 extra on phones (apple sells ip16 for 800 and t mobile for 830.
T mobile also asked for $35 connection charge.
This extra $65 surcharge makes it less appealing ☹️

I have two free lines in my current plan. CS agent on chat told me that one of the free lines isn't transferable to Magenta Max. However, in-store rep's customer team confirmed that both free lines offer can be transferred. I'll see if this actually happens when the new Magenta Max plan starts. I been told i will have 90 days to revert to old plan if I want to, I am willing to take that risk.
Every paperwork I signed stated a $200 trade-in credit. However, what I was informed was that the entire $200 would be credited as one bill, and the remaining $630 would be divided into 24 monthly payments. The in-store rep I was working with wanted me to purchase an accessory to waive $35 connection fee. However, he got frustrated when i could not decide anything and waived it off anyway.
Also $100 Costco GC after 8 weeks.

Nope. IPhone 11 Pro and newer devices
Same here. I looked in the T life app earlier. It is good for the $500 off. Incidentally my sim is currently in a moto edge 2024 (via the free prepaid deals last fall) and what T-Mobile shows me using. It's offering the full $500 for that even though it's usually not in any of their full trade value lists. I also have an iPhone 12 with shot battery and an edge 2022. I might try my edge 2022's iemi and see what happens. Didn't have it handy earlier. If that works for full value, that's the one they are going to get! Otherwise I'll trade my iPhone 12 which is no gray area. I'm holding out until next week to see if the new SE ends up free. If so and the phone has everything rumored, there really isn't a single additional aspect of the 16 worth paying $300 more for to me. I saw on Reddit this deal is supposed to be around until March 20 or something like that. If it doesn't pan out, I like my edge 2024 just fine, so no big deal.
