Unfortunately t mobile charges $30 extra on phones (apple sells ip16 for 800 and t mobile for 830.
T mobile also asked for $35 connection charge.
This extra $65 surcharge makes it less appealing ☹️

When I try to do it on the app, the credit is very clearly mentioned so I'm am skeptical that the store person actually chose the right promo.

On both occasions, the representatives received an error during final order submission.
I tried different cards, but none will work. So, I had to give up.
I chatted with T-mobile customer service. They confirmed i am eligible for an upgrade and that the account does not have any restrictions. I never did upgrade or added any lines.
I am thinkin that since my billing and shipping address are different, could that be an issue.
Both customer reps (on the phone and in store) told that it is common, and they have processed many such orders with different billing and shipping addresses.
Is anyone facing such issues ? It is baffling to everyone.
Any pointers or help will be greatly appreciated.
